Used GlideScope on a family flight this week...

Hey GlideScope Fam!
I took the family on a flight recently to a fly-in cabin on AirBnB that we've wanted to try for a while. It was one of those perfect VFR Days, albeit a little bumpy over the mountains, but the kind of flying that reminds us why we do this in the first place. :)
This was actually the first opportunity I had to use GlideScope in a new region I hadn't flown over yet (and it had a lot of mountains/trees). I had it up during cruise along with the 'Aeronautical Layer' in ForeFlight. While enroute, GlideScope helped me keep aware of what ground cover was all around the airplane (not just outside the window on my side of the plane). The layer turned into more a quiet situational awareness companion rather than an 'emergency layer'. That was a subtle but insightful experience when flying in this new area.
I put together a short video from the trip if you want to see the cabin and the flight.
And if you're flying near the PS20 airfield in PA and looking for a fly-in getaway - we really enjoyed our time on the farm!
